Trans-shipment of cereals and products of agricultural origin is the traditional, area of activity of Andreas company for a dozen of years. As many as 42% of all Szczecin trans-shipments of cereals and feeding stuff is performed in our terminal. Among the agricultural commodities, we trans-ship:
Speed, precision, optimal management
Our technical facilities allow for simultaneous operation in several relations at the same time: on ships, serving railway and cars, in elevator, in silos and in the warehouse hall. This means perfect efficiency at simultaneous maintaining the highest quality of trans-shipped and stored goods. High operation standards and automation of processes guarantee your goods are always in good hands.
In our own laboratory, each batch of goods that passes through our magazines is carefully examined. Owing to this, the quality of goods entrusted to us is monitored at the very beginning of the process.
We trans-ship both in bulk and unitised goods (pallets, in big-bags or other packages). The system of active bottom applied in our silos allows for efficient trans-shipment of palletised goods.
Standard free of charge storage period of goods in our magazines equals 14 days. A longer storage period is also possible, for this purpose arrangements including specificity of goods, the batch size and kind of the order (one-off, fixed) are necessary.
If need be, a longer storage period is possible for additional favourable for the Customer fee.

The terminal has been designed in a way that enable its universal application - in all trans-shipment relations within import and export of fertiliser. The whole process guarantees the highest quality of trans-shipped products.Our terminal belongs to the most modern solutions of that type in Poland.
All processes have been maximally automated in order to eliminate, human mistakes and ensure that goods entrusted maintain their quality. Control and management of trans-shipment processes are executed with the use of specialist computer system.
In the nearest future, the extension of the fertiliser terminal is planned thanks to which its loading capacity and warehouse space shall be significantly increased, offering in total 11 thousand tonnes of surface for bulk storage and 20 thousand m2 of storage yards. Efficiency of the terminal within co-packing of fertiliser shall increase up to 200 t/h and the terminal shall be equipped with a roofed station for trans-shipment of carriages.
Although continuous development is a part of the company strategy, we respect and cultivate local traditions. We are proud of our SNOP terminal, recognisable in the market and associated with the port of Szczecin for over 70 years. At the beginning of our activity, we offered modern trans-shipment services on the basis of our own SNOP elevator. Its trans-shipment capacities have been increased considerably in recent years when the warehouse space was enlarged by modern, computerised warehouse halls.
At present, length of our wharf is 135 m. We accept ships up to 8000 DWT Affreightment of ships over 145 m should be earlier agreed with the elevator and Harbour Master's Office due to limitation of permissible immersion depth. Permissible width of ships berthing on SNOP wharf equals 26 m.
Large storage yards with railway sidings directly at quayside are at our customers' disposal. We accept all railway pendulum, we unload 18-meter truck sets. The structure of our technical facilities and the wharf infrastructure enable operation in a number of relations at the same time.
Snop wharf, offering us independent access to the port, takes the second place in terms of capacity in Szczecin.
Modern, computerised warehouse space
At present, capacity of our warehouse complex equals 32 000 tonnes, in the nearest time investments increasing the warehouse space to over 37 000 tonnes have been planned
At present, we offer at your disposal:
• SNOP ELEVATOR of capacity of 6 000 tonnes. This is the second in terms of size elevator in Szczecin port
• Four modern silos of 16 000 tonnes capacity
• WAREHOUSE HALL of capacity of 10 000 tonnes, in the nearest time its capacity shall be increased by another 5.5 thousand tonnes
Since 2009 modern silos operate in our terminal - 4 steel tanks equipped with completely computerised system managing loading and unloading, cooperating with two electronic scales. The new system enables trans-shipment on average of 300 tonnes of commodity per hour.
The innovative system of active bottom applied in silos allows for trans-shipment of palletised goods such as granulates or pellets of eco-fuel. Every 8 minutes a truck of capacity of 25 tonnes is unloaded.
Our Customers are offered free of charge storage period of goods in our magazines which equals 14 days. If necessary, a longer storage period is possible for additional favourable for the Customer fee.
In the nearest future, the extension of the fertiliser terminal is planned owing to which both its loading capacity and the warehouse space shall be significantly increased, offering in total 11 thousand tonnes of space for storing in bulk and 20 000 m2 of storage yards and also a roofed position for trans-shipment of carriages.
Tradition and modernity
Our two key specialisations in the area of trans-shipment include traditional trans-shipment of cereals served for a number of decades and a new dynamically developing sector serving trans-shipment of fertiliser.
Although we specialise in AGRO trans-shipment, our terminal and technical facilities are perfectly adjusted to service of much diversified assortment such as steel in bundles, aggregates or other mass products.
A modern line for co-packing in Big Bags allows for fast and efficient trans-shipment of palletised goods. All warehouse processes are automated and computer managed.
Warehouse space, owing to high-performance transportation and trans-shipment devices, enables the execution of warehouse operations with the efficiency maintained up to 250 t/h.
Unloading of cereals and feeding stuff from ships onto the elevator is performed with the use of mobile cranes, loading of cereals and feeding stuff from the elevator onto ships is performed via chain Redler conveyors and bucket elevators onto the elevator.
Unloading of carriages and trucks is performed at unloading stations onto charging hoppers, and then the goods are transported with the chain Redler conveyor and bucket elevator systems onto the elevator.
Loading of carriages and trucks is performed at stations to which the goods are passed from the elevator with the chain Redler conveyor and bucket elevator systems.

We have two railway sidings of the total length of 900 m.
At a time we can accept:
• 16 roofed carriages with 4 axes (GAGS type)
• 22 carriages with 2 axes (UGPPS type)
For truck transportation we give specially prepared car parks, vehicle and commodity scales.
Loading and unloading:
• Unloading of cereals and feeding stuff from ships onto elevator is performed with the use mobile cranes of RDK 200 type equipped with grippers. The goods are passed onto charging hoppers and then passed onto the elevator with the system of shielded chain Redler conveyors with Teflon base and bucket elevators.
•Loading of cereals and feeding stuff from the elevator onto ships is performed via chain Redler conveyors and bucket elevators onto the elevator.
•Unloading of carriages and trucks is performed at unloading stations onto charging hoppers, and then the goods are transported with the chain Redler conveyor and bucket elevator system onto the elevator.
•Loading of carriages and trucks is performed at stations to which the goods are passed from the elevator with the chain Redler conveyor and bucket elevator system.
All systems passing the load are Teflon coated which guarantees quiet operation, extended exploitation time and perfect quality of the goods entrusted. All logistics processes are completely computerised.
